Neighbor to Neighbor is providing some great opportunities to the community of Raleigh - to its children, to its teenagers, and to its young adults. They are providing many with the opportunity to excel academically, through their tutoring center; the opportunity to excel socially, through their basketball league and community events; and the opportunity to excel professionally, through programs like "Jobs for Life," which offers job training, mentorship, career development services, and much more... I would love to say more, but I would really prefer that you learned about them for yourself, and from them, by visiting there site by clicking the picture to the left. Stop in and stay awhile; think about getting involved. They're doing great work serving Raleigh, and building their community.

The Pavia Project----------------------

The Pavia Project is an effort headed by Venezuelan missionary Chris Nelson to build up the community of Pavia, Venezuela. Pavia is a town where there is much need: a daily need for water, for proper facilities, for educational opport- unities, for community infrastructure. Pavia is a town full of children - beautiful, beautiful children - who would like access to these things, who need proper platforms for social development and economic opportunity... The children have informed me that they would love to have a playground, first and foremost, and there are many reasons why we all think that a play- ground would be a great benefit to the children (and adults) of Pavia. So this will be our first endeavor for the town of Pavia - to build a proper playground for the children there. Please learn more about the Pavia Project, by clicking the picture to the left. Together, I think there is much we can accomplish alongside the people of Pavia, Venezuela. I am excited for this opportunity to serve Pavia, and to see this community to reach its full potential.
